woots. Not bad for a start for sem 2. Except that, the time table is still so packed.

Had my 1st lesson of GEMS today, "Decision making in daily life" Quite reluctant to go initially, cos' there are none i know in the class. And its a mix of year 1 & 2. But managed to make a few friends. And there's arrogant guy in the class. From Aeronautical. Well, we were having some ice-breakers. Went through a round of intro and we were to each call up 3 person we could remember. And when its this guy's turn, guess what he says.

"Well, i cant remember anyone simply becos im not interested & i dont like this child's play"

And the lecturer was trying to "enlighten" him. Telling him there are group work and he needs to know at least some of us. and guess what he replies??

"I'll get to know them when i need to." (this is the one im not happy abt)

hey, please just fuck off lah! You approach us, will we giva a damn about you? Coming to a poly and dont like to make friends, in fact, groupwork is a must everywhere. What makes him think he is so great, im definitely not gonna group with this kind of person. Well, that's the decision he made, so be it. The lecturer also cant be bothered about him. wahaha'

Went HTA on a Sunday!! how great?? Went of the D07 instructors meeting. Saw a few J07-mates.. So much more to know and learn and to expect much more from myself...

School starts tomorrow once again......... After ONLY 1 month of break..

I was wondering.... Why is it only 3 things that revolves around in my life. Studies, NPCC, Taekwondo.

Studies, we've got no choice about it.

NPCC, ever since sec. 1. And actually there's a point when NPCC would come to a stop in my life. But i chose to continue the service to the corp. Lots of people may wonder, what's the point of being a CI. So what if you are a CI. Well, my answer? To continue serving the corp, or rather my unit, is all because of passion. I've learned new skills, made/making new friends, sharpening my leadership skills to even learning more about human relations. I love the outdoor activities, the bonding of the squad where we went through tough trainings and 'treatment' together. All the sweat and blood we shed. We learned to care for each other.

Taekwondo. Took up this sport when I was in P.5. Why? I also dont know why. Probably its because the influence from my cousin. So, initially, started training in the same club as him. But as time goes by, less and less people turned up for training. And eventually, i went over to 'Sports Team Taekwondo Club'. Ever since, I've my goals and targets set. And till now, I've reached 1/3 of it. Guess I still have a long way to go. However, had the thought of 'retiring' from taekwondo. And I told myself before this year's Nationals. 'I'll retire if i get one more gold this time'. Reason being, I'm tired of getting injured every now and then. Its really tiring of having to endure all the nagging from my mum everytime i was rubbing ointment on my instep, shin of hip. But there's one thing for sure, I enjoy being under the care of Niki ma'am. Her tough yet rewarding trainings. And watching everyone who trained with me getting awards during competitions.

Haven't blogged for a while. Well, shall blog about area 9 ATC that i went.

My first ATC as an instructor. I am really impressed by how area 9 work things out. One very good example is that, for almost every activities, the group instructors are the ones teaching rather than the activity I/C. Its good in a few ways.
1) The instructors teaching will handle less cadets during activity cycles.
2) Group instructors are the ones with the cadets most of the time during camp, so they tend to know them better. So they are able to communicate better with the cadets.
But being group a instructor in no easy job. You'll be the 'parent' for the group for the camp. Minor things you gotta handle. There's even a few times my group campers came up to me and ask, " sir, got see my bottle, just now i put there." OMG.......

Nothing much to say about the camp, but i would say, its a very successful camp.

And yesterday, got the braces for my upper row of teeth fixed. fixed for 1 hour liddat. Thanks to the doctor. Fixed the wire liao, tell me forgot to put something. lol' See she pretty, forgive her lah. haha' Reason fix upper teeth for now ts because of the 2 stupid teeth that were inwards. hope they move to the desirable place soon.

Was having dinner earlier on,and suddenly felt some tremors. This time was worse. Guess earthquake occur somewhere nearby again. Believe most of you felt it too.

After telling zi qi ma'am my reason for not going to help out in D07, she replied saying that other instructors are also having lessons, and we can actually leave for our lessons and back to HTA after. I was telling myself; " well, alright.. maybe i can do that". After that, I drew a mind map of all the problems and factors that I must consider before making the right decision. Cause Im taking this very seriously. Its a great exposure for me if i were to help out in D07.

If i were to help out in D07. During RC, I'll either go for lessons, or miss the 7 days of lessons.

And if i go for the lessons, it means i'll have to bring all my textbks and notebook(&charger) to HTA. Also, what am i going to wear to school? The smelly PT kit? And during this week, i'll probably have lack of sleep, and not concentrate in school and in the course. (so what's the point?) might as well dont go for RC or school.

And IPC i also another factor. It'll definitely take up a lot of time. maybe during Nov. And i MAY miss classes even before the start of the course. And also miss my unit's camp. Which is the 1st and last camp of the year. I dont want to miss that.

So, my final decision will be 'NOT TO GO'. Shall let zi qi ma'am know again. great chance wasted though.

Will be going down to YCK CC at nite to celebrate niki ma'am birthday.

Jus msg-ed zi qi ma'am. My final decision was not to go for the CII for D07. =) Dont ask me why, i have my own reasons.
