me: er.. i dont know what it really takes to be a cii...
zi qi ma'am: dont worry, jus have the right mindset.

Then she filled me in with all the course details. And I told her I dont know whether to go for it or not. School vacation only starts on the 15 Dec while D07 course will be on.

So, she told me to decide on it and get back to her.......

If i choose to go for it, it means i'll have to skip 7 days of lessons. (that's a lot!!) And i'll have to go through all the preparation course, all the debrief to *unhumanly hours* as mentioned by one of my cii. haha'

Had a bad start initially, but all came great at the later part of the day. Sports Teams achieved overall 2nd for the year's Nationals Competition!! No point saying much, pictures will explain the joy we all shared.

Well, not much to blog about this few days, cos all I did was to rot, study, study, rot.Raining now, weather quite cooling. Last paper coming up tomorrow, MATHS. *no comment*

Saturday will be an important day for me; Taekwondo Nationals. The last tournament which im gonna participate in the Junior category. lol' Hope everything goes well. Supporters, FYI.
Date: 25th August & 26th August(senior category, more exciting matches)
Venue: Yishun Sports Hall (which most of you know)
Time: Anytime after 1300 hrs. my match starts at 13 00. cus bout no. 2!!! thats why i need supporters..

Had PEEE paper, do-able. A few careless mistakes noted after discussion wth the rest. Well, no point brooding, hope i did well.

And today was mum's birthday, bought a birthday cake home after my paper. haha'

17th AUG

Revised a little on PEEE. Then rot a bit. Basically, wasted half of my day today. bad bad bad.

Went for training at night. As usual, partner training then a bit of physical. Sprint up 12 storey followed by squat kicking, 50 each leg. (i did eat-snake) Sprinted up again, and this time, i slipped and fell, hurt my hip. After that, 50 back thrust, each leg. BY RIGHT, after that, suppose to do continuous turning for 100. BUT, due to our sluggish movements, up the stairs again. After that, 100 CONTINUOUS turning. Stop, restart. Not the 1 by 1, somewhat like double, triple turning. And miraculously, i did it in 1 go. wahaha' not every kick it perfect though. Think I hurt Jiawei's arm lah. So sorry, brother.

Went the usual coffeeshop for drink. And jiawei sent me home after that. Cos he was driving.

Quite boring for the front part of the day. Woke up, Had my breakfast, prataS, then started revision on DE. Nothing went in at first, Maybe due to that, I have not been studying that subject for quite a while. Say, 4 days? Number system, everything messed up, DeMorgan's theorems, forgotten. And after 1 hour, at least somethings went in. HOW AM I GOING TO TAKE THE PAPER IN LESS THAN 4 DAYS' TIME?? TIME TO WAKE UP GUOJING!!

Oh well, after another 45 mins? of revision, had a shower and went off to watch the young juniors' tournament. All along, i thought it was next week, until i sms-ed Jia Wei. So, took bus 854 down to Yishun Sports Hall. Nothing to blog about for that. Zhong Xian & Jun Han could have done better!

After the last match for the day, Jia Wei and I went for a ride. His driving skills not bad, despite me telling him to watch out along the way.. lol' Its not that, I'm not confident of his driving skills, but I had phobia riding on a bike after that incident in Malaysia. =) Shall not talk about it.

Watching the kid fighting in the tournament makes me have the urge to train harder.
All I know is I'm going to win another gold for this tournament. And I will do it!

Observance Ceremony at HS

Reached outside HS at 06 15. Gate was locked then. Were joined by Michelle, Wee Ling, Hwa Leong & Wei Siong a while later. And waiting for another 10 mins or so, 1 uncle came to open the gate. But i think he is one of the bus drivers who parked the bus in HS.

Got into the school, however, canteen shuttles were still locked. Cannot go into NP room. By the time the 'man-in-blue' came to open the shuttles, it started to RAIN. And wet weather programme for the parade. A lot a lot of changes and last min decisions, but I'm very glad that everything went smoothly for the parade.

And VIP gracing this ceremony was, MP, Mr. Teo Ser Luck.

After the ceremony, few of us went to AMK Hub for lunch at Fish & Co. Started roaming to Suntec City to catch the pre-parade ceremony. And along the way, we had full of craps to talk about. All Wei Siong hoped to do was to hook Michelle's nose with his carabiner. haha!

Continued to roam to Marina Square where we found a spot and settled down to watch the fireworks. We were there at 18 00. haha' And the fireworks started only at 20 00.
And mean while, watch the 'red lions' free falling, State flag flying past, which was magnificent, 3 F-16s(i suppose) flying past with thunder roar, followed by another 5 F-16s. Apache performance was so-so. Overall fireworks was nice.. no pictures to upload, only video. Sorry guys..

ND Celebrations at HS

Reached HS at around 06 20. Slacked a while and changed to full-u. Contingent supposed to fall-in at 06 45, and of course, they were LATE. And that's the reason for flaring up early in the morning. We had already asked them if they'll be able to fall-in at that time yesterday, and all goes, "yes sir!".

Anyway, all things went quite smoothly, except for some last minute changes by the 'big boss'. Not much more need to be said. Here are the pictures..

National Day is just 3 days away, but, the anxiety was no longer there. Maybe its because that, when I was younger, I would look forward to my dad driving my whole family to somewhere at Marina South to watch the fireworks. And during primary school days, I'll be wondering what on earth was the Parade Commander shouting about. Until then, when i joined NPCC.

Watching a korean drama, "Stairway to Heaven" now. Cus my mum is watching it. The story is so 'dramatic'. Did it ever happened in real life? All these love stories..... lol'

Yesterday night, tkd training. 2day whole day, tkd training again. wohoo'

By right, suppose to meet Cheryl and some other peeps from other UG to discuss for the end-of-year combined UG camp. But gotta go for taining, so, didnt turn up for the discussion. Sorry.

Met up with Keefe then Zhao Xian to get the hard targets from hougang class training ground. Then, took bus to a multi storey carpark beside rivervalve mall for our training. Suppose to start training at 13 00, but till 13 30, there's still only 3 people around, Keefe, Zhao Xian & me. After that, Stella came, followed by Xiang Ming & Yuan Wei, then Jia Wei & Carmen. And at 14 10, Niki mdm n Hui Ping finally arrived.

Training then officially started. Started with stamina training, 30 short front in 15 sec, both legs. Then left & right 30, left right 30. each 2 sets. Lastly, 20 sec of continuous low front kick. 'Siong' ah!! Rest, then combination kicks 10 sets, switch leg, another 10 sets. Now the peak, sprint around the carpark within 30 sec. Few rounds of hoping. Then technic learning. And lesson end for part 1. ( 13 00- 16 30)

Proceed to YCK CC for part 2 training. Took bus 86 to YCK station then walked to YCK CC. Quite slack lah. But learnt quite a few things too. Kicked the sandbag. And after a few rounds, my double turning is back!! wohoo!! Then did partner training with Yong Quan. After few sets, part 2 ended. (17 30 - 19 45)

Finally, had the second meal for the day. Zhao Xian did something to represent SOMETHING.

PEEE lab test for today. All i can say is, EASY. Instructions from Mr Lam wasnt clear at all. Firstly, i heard him saying, when we finished connecting the circuit and set the power supply to 10V, let him check. And when i did that, asked me what i was doing. -.-" In fact, what he wanted was to check the measurements. After that, showed him the measurement for the voltage, and he wanted me to show him the measurement for voltage & current together. Nvm about all that. Everyone will score for the lab test for sure.

After lab test, followed up by the lecture i dreaded to have. PEEE lecture. Well, manged to keep my eyes open this time round. Almost fell asleep after hearing mervin's yawningS. haha! Had lunch at FC 4 with almost all the class peeps. And we finished our lunch very quickly. There's 1 more hour before the next lesson. And we ended up outside the classroom. And Marn Chern started his search for some INFORMATION. All had a fun time watching him searching for it. hahaha!

Its the even number week!! Lesson to Thurday ends at 15 00.

After school, went JEC to meet my friend and pass him some things. After that, went AMK Hub to get some things done. Took bus 74 and surprisingly, met Yan Ru mdm. Had a little chat. She is a very nice person to talk to. And was suppose to meet someone else, but after i reached, he PS me. !!! And i gotta walk home from somewhere near Xin Min Primary. I could have just taken bus 88 from AMK!! But nvm, got to meet Yan Ru mdm. haha'

Walked home, saw Mr. Yee at the traffic junction near my house. lol' Long time never see him, reminds me of the MATH lessons he gave us. And the way he talked to me its funny. Wondered how he managed to become a teacher. Seriously..
